4.1.1. Upon receipt of payment byTerminal 1, the Buyer will receive an email confirming their purchase. The Buyer is therefore required to provide a valid email address when placing an order on the ticketing platform and to check for any emails from Terminal 1 that may have been blocked by spam filters.
The Buyer will receive their tickets in the confirmation email, either as an attachment or as a downloadable file (hereinafter the“e-Tickets”).
4.1.2. Each Ticket has a unique barcode or QR code that identifies and authenticates it. This QR code is valid for all activities ordered by the Purchaser.
4.1.3. The Buyer is responsible for keeping the Tickets safe and for using the Tickets in accordance with the provisions of Section 5 of the Terms and Conditions.
4.2. FAILURE TO DELIVER
4.2.1. If the Buyer does not receive a confirmation email or their Ticket(s), they must notify Terminal 1 as soon as possible by email at the following address: tickets@terminal1.brussels
4.2.2. If the barcode or QR code on the Ticket is illegible or difficult to read (provided this is not the result of the Buyer printing the Ticket incorrectly), the Buyer must notify Terminal 1 as soon as possible by email at tickets@terminal1.brussels. In this case, and after Terminal 1 has verified the defect, Terminal 1 will issue a duplicate Ticket. No compensation or refund will be provided.
4.2.3. Terminal 1 assumes no liability if the contact information (last name, first name, address, email address) provided by the Purchaser is incorrect and, as a result, the Purchaser’s Ticket cannot be issued or does not grant access to the reserved activity or activities.
ARTICLE 5: USE OF TICKETS
5.1. Tickets are non-transferable and serve as personal admission passes. Any transfer or resale of Tickets for commercial purposes, in any form whatsoever, is prohibited.
5.2. The Ticket will be scanned at the entrance to the event. Unless otherwise stated on the Ticket, a Ticket with a barcode or QR code entitles the holder to a single entry to the event. If the same barcode or QR code is presented multiple times, only the first Ticket presented and scanned will grant access to the event. Holders of photocopies will therefore be denied access to the event.
5.3. The Ticket is valid only for the date and time of the event indicated on the Ticket. Any attempt to reuse or copy a Ticket will be considered fraud. Any misuse, forgery, or counterfeiting of the Ticket may result in legal action. Terminal 1 reserves the right to deny entry to the activity to any person who does not have a Ticket obtained in accordance with the ordering process described in the Terms and Conditions. Proof of payment does not constitute a valid Ticket for the activity.
5.4. The Buyer may print the e-Ticket using the download link sent by Terminal 1. In this case, the e-Ticket must be printed in color or black and white on white A4 paper. The print quality must be perfect, and all elements of the e-Ticket, including the barcode or QR code, must be legible; otherwise, access to the activity will be denied.
The e-ticket may also be presented by the purchaser on a smartphone with a sufficiently bright screen.
5.5. If the Ticket or related service is issued in the purchaser’s name, the purchaser may be asked to present a valid form of identification during entry checks for the event. Terminal 1 shall in no event be liable if it has not performed this optional verification, for example in the event that the Ticket has been counterfeited.
5.6. Without prejudice to the provisions of Section 6.2.1, the Ticket will not be replaced, refunded, or exchanged, including in the event of loss or theft, or if it is not used on the day of or during the selected time slot for the activity.
5.7. If the Purchaser arrives after the time indicated on the Ticket for the activity, they will generally not be admitted to the activity, unless the activity operator decides otherwise based on the available sessions for the activity.Due to constraints related to the activity, it may be impossible for the operator to admit latecomers. In this case, the Buyer’s tickets will be forfeited, with no compensation available to the Buyer. If the operator decides to admit latecomers, the Buyer agrees to be assigned to other game areas or another game group that may be available and waives any claim against Terminal 1 and the operator in this regard.
5.8. The Buyer must keep the Ticket for the duration of their participation in the activity and must be able to present it upon request.
ARTICLE 6: PLATFORM OPERATION, LIABILITY, MODIFICATION, AND CANCELLATION
6.1. CONTENT AND OPERATION OF SALES CHANNELS
6.1.1. Terminal 1 assumes no liability arising from access to or use of the Ticketing Platform. Furthermore, Terminal 1 makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the error-free, virus-free, or bug-free operation of the Ticket Sales Channels, or their uninterrupted availability.
Terminal 1 shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the sales channels it provides (including, but not limited to, loss of content resulting from uploading or downloading on the ticketing platform).
6.1.2. Terminal 1 makes reasonable efforts to provide information that is as up-to-date, accurate, and complete as possible, but makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the security, accuracy, or completeness of the information, whether regarding the goods or services available through the various sales channels it provides.
Terminal 1 cannot be held liable for acts and omissions, the goods and services offered, or the information provided on third-party websites (including those of the activity operator) specifically dedicated to the activity, including those to which the Ticketing Platform refers or links, whether regarding the content or the operation of such websites. The content of third-party websites that contain links to the Ticketing Platform, as well as the links themselves, fall outside the control of Terminal 1 and are therefore the sole responsibility of those third parties.
6.2. LIABILITY, MODIFICATION, AND CANCELLATION OF THE ACTIVITY
6.2.1. No purchase may be canceled, exchanged, or refunded to the Purchaser, except in the event of cancellation of the activity by Terminal 1 or the activity operator (without prejudice to Section 3.1.4.). In such a case, the Buyer may choose between a refund of the purchase price of the Tickets or a session on another date and time slot.
Purchases made via the ticketing platform in "guest" mode cannot be modified by the Buyer.
A purchase made through the Ticketing Platform using an account created on the Ticketing Platform allows the Purchaser to modify their order on the Platform no later than twenty-four (24) hours before the start of the first activity, provided that dates and time slots are available.
6.2.2. Under no circumstances may the Buyer claim any damages or reimbursement from Terminal 1 due to a defect in the quality of the activity, the content of the activity, a change in the content or the conduct of the activity, or a delay in its conduct.
Similarly, Terminal 1 shall not be held liable for any discrepancies between the photos, videos, illustrations, or descriptions used to present and/or promote the activity as they appear on any promotional material for the activity itself. Terminal 1 disclaims all liability for the accuracy of information displayed on the ticketing platform or any other sales channel that has been provided to Terminal 1 by the activity operator or by third parties.
6.2.3. In any event, if the purchase price of the Tickets is refunded, such refund will be issued only to the original Purchaser of the initial transaction, using the same payment method as that used at the time of the order (credit card or debit card).
6.2.4. Except in cases of willful misconduct, fraud, or gross negligence on the part of Terminal 1 or its employees or agents:
i. Terminal 1’s liability is limited to foreseeable direct damages, which are equal to the value of the Tickets, goods, and/or services ordered by the Purchaser from Terminal 1; and
ii. Terminal 1 shall not be held liable for any loss of profits or savings, loss of revenue, loss of customers, loss of data, loss of opportunities, or any other indirect or unforeseeable damages at the time of the sale of the Tickets.
Terminal 1 shall not be liable for any hearing or vision impairments, or other skin or physical conditions resulting from participation in the activity covered by the Tickets. Any claims regarding physical injury must be directed to the operator of the activity.
6.2.5. The Buyer and any accompanying persons are required to comply with the applicable regulations in Terminal 1 (internal rules, security, evacuation, health measures, etc.). They agree to behave as any prudent and diligent person would during their activities and while present within Terminal 1, and to comply with any requests from security personnel.
The Purchaser agrees to comply with all preventive and security measures (such as bag searches) implemented by Terminal 1, the activity operator, and/or the relevant authorities in order to access Terminal 1 or the activity. Failure to comply with these measures may result in denial of access to Terminal 1 and the event, without any refund of the Tickets to the Purchaser (and any accompanying persons).
In particular, it is prohibited to bring any dangerous objects, items that could be used as projectiles, or any pyrotechnic devices into Terminal 1.
The Purchaser and any accompanying persons or participants take part in the activity at their own risk. Under no circumstances shall Terminal 1 be held liable for any damages, whether property or personal injury, caused to third parties by the Purchaser or the participants, or to themselves or their property. This is without prejudice to the provisions of Section 6.2.4.
6.2.6. Participation in any activity implies full and unconditional acceptance of the operating rules and safety guidelines provided by Terminal 1 and the activity operator.
The Purchaser and the participants declare that they are in good physical condition and fit to participate in the activity. In particular, they agree to (i) not be under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or any medication that could impair their physical or mental abilities, (b) be aware of their physical capabilities and limitations, and (c) not endanger their own safety or that of others.
The Buyer and all participants must behave in a prudent, responsible, and respectful manner at all times. They are responsible for their own safety as well as that of other participants.
The equipment provided must be used strictly in accordance with the instructions and guidelines provided before and during the activity.
Terminal 1 and the activity operator reserve the right to exclude, at any time, any person who fails to comply with the rules and instructions or whose behavior is likely to disrupt the smooth running of the activity or jeopardize the safety of the premises and/or individuals.
No refund will be issued for any exclusion or voluntary withdrawal from the activity before its completion, regardless of the reason.
The Buyer agrees to inform the participants of these obligations.
6.2.7. Terminal 1 and the activity operator assume no liability for theft, loss, or damage to the personal or work-related belongings of the Purchaser and participants.
6.3. FORCE MAJEURE
Under no circumstances shall Terminal 1 be held liable for any breach of its contractual obligations resulting from unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure. The following are considered force majeure events, including but not limited to: fire, flood, earthquakes, storms, hurricanes, and any other natural disaster; exceptional weather conditions; diseases, pandemics, or epidemics; seizures; decisions or sanctions by authorities; embargoes; strikes; lockouts; blockades, power outages, interruptions in telephone and internet service, terrorist activities, terror alerts, war, civil war, revolt, demonstration, revolution, strikes, machine breakdowns or accidents, or exceptional traffic accidents, supply difficulties, failure of suppliers or carriers, or any other unforeseeable circumstance beyond the control of Terminal 1 that makes the performance of obligations temporarily or permanently impossible.
Such events shall release Terminal 1 from any liability and shall entitle it, as the case may be, either to reduce its obligations, to terminate the contract, or to suspend its performance for the duration of the force majeure event without being liable for any compensation. Terminal 1 reserves the right to offer the Purchaser an alternative date and time for the activity.
ARTICLE 7: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
7.1. The Tickets, their design, and their components (including names, trademarks, domain names, logos, graphic designs, photographs, videos, texts, and other content and works) remain at all times the exclusive property of Terminal 1 or have been subject to prior authorization for use by third parties, and therefore may not, in whole or in part, in any form, on any medium, or by any means whatsoever, reproduced, exploited, copied, imitated, or distributed without the prior written authorization of Terminal 1, except for the purposes of printing in accordance with Section 5.4 of the Terms and Conditions.
All text, images, and photos featured on the ticketing platform are protected by copyright and may not be used for any purpose whatsoever without the prior written authorization of Terminal 1.
Unless expressly authorized in writing by the operator, any commercial use of the name or logo of the activity is strictly prohibited to the Purchaser and may result in legal action.
7.2. It is prohibited to photograph, film, or record the event in any form for any commercial purpose.
If Terminal 1 or the operator has arranged for the event to be filmed and/or photographed, the Purchaser (and the audience) may appear incidentally in such recordings. By accepting the Terms and Conditions and/or attending the event, the Purchaser and the persons accompanying them to the event agree that their image may be reproduced as part of this recording and used, in any form whatsoever (including for commercial purposes), by Terminal 1 or the operator. This right is granted worldwide and free of charge.
Some activities may offer the opportunity to have your photo taken individually or in a group. In such cases, by agreeing to participate, the participants in question consent to having their photo taken individually or in a group.

The provision that is wholly or partially void, voidable, or unenforceable shall be deemed unwritten and shall be replaced or deemed to have been replaced by the parties with a similar provision that complies with the law and that fulfills, to the extent possible, the same function.

4.2.1. If the Purchaser does not receive a confirmation email or their Ticket(s), they must notify Terminal 1 as soon as possible by email at the following email address: tickets@terminal1.brussels
4.2.2. If the barcode or QR code on the Ticket is illegible or difficult to read (provided this is not due to poor printing of the Ticket by the Purchaser), the Purchaser must notify Terminal 1 as soon as possible by email at tickets@terminal1.brussels. In this case, and once the problem has been acknowledged by Terminal 1, Terminal 1 shallissue a duplicate Ticket. No compensation or refund will be provided.
4.2.3. Terminal 1 assumes no liability if the information (last name, first name, address, email) provided by the Purchaser is incorrect and, as a result, their Ticket cannot be delivered to them or cannot grant them access to the booked activity or activities.
ARTICLE 5: USE OF TICKETS
5.1. Tickets are personalized and serve as personal, non-transferable admission tickets.
If the same barcode or QR code is presented more than once, only the first Ticket presented and scanned will grant access to the event. Holders of photocopies will therefore be denied access to the event.
5.3. The Ticket is valid only for the date and time of the activity indicated on the Ticket. Any attempt to reuse or copy a Ticket will be considered fraud. Any misuse, falsification, or counterfeiting of the Ticket may result in legal action. Terminal 1 reserves the right to refuse entry to the activity to any person who does not hold a ticket obtained in accordance with the booking process described in the Terms and Conditions. Proof of payment does not constitute a valid ticket for the activity.
5.4. The Purchaser may print their e-Ticket using the download link sent by Terminal 1. In this case, the e-Ticket must be printed in color or black and white on white A4 paper. The print quality must be perfect, and all elements of the e-Ticket, including the barcode or QR code, must be legible; otherwise, access to the activity will be denied.
The e-Ticket may also be presented by the Purchaser on their mobile phone (such as a smartphone), provided the screen is sufficiently bright.
5.5. If the Ticket or related service is issued in the Purchaser’s name, the Purchaser may be asked to present a valid form of identification during entry checks for the activity. Terminal 1 shall under no circumstances be liable if it has not performed this optional verification, for example, if the Ticket has been counterfeited.
5.6. Without prejudice to the provisions of Article 6.2.1, the Ticket shall not be replaced, refunded, or exchanged, particularly in the event of loss, theft, or if it is not used on the day or during the selected time slot for the activity.
5.7. If the Purchaser arrives after the time stated on the Ticket for the activity, they will generally not be admitted to the activity, unless the activity operator decides otherwise based on the available sessions for the activity. Due to the nature of the activity, the operator may not be able to admit latecomers. In this case, the Purchaser’s spots will be forfeited, with no compensation available to the Purchaser. If the operator decides to admit latecomers, the Purchaser agrees to be assigned to other games or to another game group that may be available and waives any claim or recourse in this regard against Terminal 1 and the operator.
5.8. The Purchaser must keep the Ticket for the duration of their participation in the activity and must be able to present it upon request.

Purchases made through the Ticketing Platform in "guest" mode cannot be modified by the purchaser.
Purchases made through the Ticketing Platform using an account created on the Ticketing Platform entitle the Purchaser to modify their order on the Platform no later than twenty-four (24) hours before the start of the first activity, subject to available dates and time slots.
6.2.2. Under no circumstances may the Purchaser claim any damages or a refund from Terminal 1 on the grounds of poor quality or a lack of quality in the activity, the content of the activity, a change to the content or the conduct of the activity, or a delay in its conduct.
Similarly, Terminal 1 cannot be held liable in the event of discrepancies between the photographs, videos, illustrations, or descriptions used to present and/or promote the activity as they appear on any promotional material for the activity itself. 6.2.4. Except in cases of willful misconduct, fraud, or gross negligence on the part of Terminal 1 or its employees or agents:
i. Terminal 1’s liability is limited to foreseeable direct damages, which are equal to the value of the tickets, goods, and/or services ordered by the Purchaser from Terminal 1; and
ii. Terminal 1 shall not be liable for loss of profits or savings, loss of income, loss of customers, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or any other indirect or unforeseeable damages at the time of the sale of the Tickets.
Terminal 1 shall not be liable for any hearing or vision impairment, or other sensory or physical injuries resulting from participation in the activity to which the Tickets relate. Any claim regarding physical injury must be directed to the activity operator.
6.2.5. The Purchaser and any accompanying persons are required to comply with the rules in effect within Terminal 1 (internal rules, safety, evacuation, health measures, etc.). They agree to behave as any prudent and diligent person would during the activity and while on the premises of Terminal 1, and to comply with any requests from security staff.
The Purchaser agrees to comply with all preventive and control measures (such as bag checks) implemented by Terminal 1, the activity operator, and/or the relevant authorities in order to gain access to Terminal 1 or the activity. Failure to comply with these measures may result in denial of access to Terminal 1 and the activity, without any refund of Tickets to the Purchaser (and any accompanying persons).
In particular, it is prohibited to bring into Terminal 1 any dangerous items, anything that could be used as a projectile, or any pyrotechnic items.
The Purchaser and any accompanying persons or participants participate in the activity at their own risk. Under no circumstances shall Terminal 1 be held liable for any damage, whether property damage or personal injury, caused to third parties by the Purchaser or participants, or to themselves or their property. This is without prejudice to the provisions of Article 6.2.4.
6.2.6. Participation in any activity implies full and unconditional acceptance of the operating rules and safety instructions provided by Terminal 1 and the activity operator.
The Purchaser and the participants declare that they are in good physical condition and fit to participate in the activity. In that case, the Buyer’s spots will be forfeited, and the Buyer will not be entitled to any compensation. If the operator decides to admit latecomers, the Buyer agrees to be assigned to other game worlds or other game groups that may be available and waives any claim against Terminal 1 and the operator in this regard.
